Rental Terms & Conditions

Welcome to our ALBD Rentals. ALBD Rentals is a collection of hand selected garments available to rent for special occasions and events. 
Some of our rentals are also still available to purchase at a retail price on our main website if they are brand new and unworn. As soon as a product has been rented out (worn) it is now only available to rent. 
What you will receive
- Free shipping to your door
- Your rental beautifully packaged ready for your event 
- A courier bag and instructions on returning your garment
 
Terms of rentals
All prices shown on our rental page include postage to a New Zealand address and a pre-paid courier bag for return. Please select a booking date 4 business days before your event (Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays are not business days) , to ensure your rental is delivered to you on time. Often your parcel will arrive to you the next day, but no courier company can guarantee this. 
You must return your rental within 10 days from booking date (request longer via email). This is very important as another customer may have booked the same item after you and we need to allow the time to have it dry cleaned and shipped out to them. If your rental is not returned within 10 days your bond will not be refunded.

If a rental is damaged or is badly stained, a partial bond may only be refunded once this cost has been assessed.
If a rental is damaged beyond repair, lost or stolen you will be charged the full retail price to cover our costs.
We require a $50 bond on every rental which you will need to add at checkout in shipping options. Your bond will be refunded upon return if it meets our terms and conditions above. If you do not add the $50 bond at checkout, we will send a email requesting you deposit it into our account. We will only ship your rental once a bond has been received, so the best option is to add this at checkout to avoid delays.
If you do not receive your rental by your booking date or your garment is either damaged or faulty, an investigation will be carried out. A full refund may be given to compensate. A full refund will not be given if you either change your mind or the item doesn't not fit. 
Please treat our garments with love as you would your own... 
Try on service 
We have a try on service by appointment only available to local customers. If you would like to try on please send us an email with the following info:
Name, phone number, appointment date and time request, Up to 10 garments you wish to try including size. 
We will get back to you as soon as possible and will do our very best to meet your requests. 
We do not supply a fit guide as sizes vary in each brand. For any extra info on fits, measurements and sizing please email us at info@alittlebitdifferentstore.com
Please note we will only be able to respond to emails during open working hours.
Open:  9am-5pm weekdays, 10am-1pm Saturdays 
Closed: Sunday and Public Holidays
PLEASE DO NOT WASH,  DRY CLEAN OR FIX ANY DAMAGES YOURSELF (This will be assessed by our team once returned)
